Let’s get the running party started! The Take the Plunge Spring Opener will take place on Sunday, May 2, 2010. The event will feature a timed 5K race on a certified course as well as an untimed 1.5K run for kids. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. at Tippings Pond (opposite the Rod and Gun Club Building, Massey Drive) with race start at 11:00 a.m. Registration is FREE for CBRC members, $5.00 for non-members. CBRC membership signup will be available at the first 2 events of the season, or you can download a membership application below and mail it in anytime. For a $10 annual fee you’ll get a $5 discount on all races except the BMO Downtown Dash. That means that all 5K races will be free, and all other races will be $5 cheaper! You’ll also have a say in how the club evolves, with voting privileges at CBRC meetings.
